About Miss Ella Richards
Ella graduated from the University of Surrey in 2004 where she studied ‘Art for Public Space’ - mosaic and stained glass whilst also developing her fine art, illustrative and painting skills.
Alongside teaching and annual exhibitions, Ella undertakes commissions to produce stained glass windows and paintings for private residences and public sites including The Green Man Pub in Ewell Village and a series of glass installation windows at George Abbott School, Guildford.
Much of Ella’s inspiration comes from travelling and the beauty of natural forms. She also gets a wealth of inspiration from her favourite artists.
Ella spends most of her free time tinkering with paints, beads, glass and other craft materials. She is never happier than when surrounded by art supplies, cups of tea, butter popcorn and a soundtrack of good tunes.
