Editorial A Contracorriente, associated with the refereed on-line journal A Contracorriente, publishes refereed books on Latin American studies in Spanish and English. We are a non-profit press that publishes single author monographs and edited volumes that address political, sociological, literary, historical, economic, and cultural issues from a multitude of critical views and with a progressive perspective. As the name of the press indicates, we publish rigorous and solid works that question the prevailing trends in those fields.
