Elaine Luddy Klonicki is a freelance writer and editor who lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has a B.A. in psychology from North Carolina State University, and is on the board of Triangle Area Freelancers, Inc. She is a former columnist for The News & Observer, has self-published several nonfiction books, and is frequently published in Military Officer magazine. She has spoken at senior centers, libraries, and writers’ conferences.
Before becoming a freelancer, Elaine worked in employee development and technical writing. She is passionate about personal growth and inspiring people to be their best selves.
Elaine is fascinated with the WWII era and, along with her mom, wrote the story of her parents' courtship in NYC during the 1940s which includes over 50 of her dad's original love letters. Her mom is now 93 and still reads the letters.
