The book covers safety around horses, how to find the first horse, basic care, horse nutrition, health, stables or housing for the horse; and equipment. How to handle the horse, preparing to ride and riding is also covered. The reader will learn about cues needed to communicate with the horse. The last chapter covers continuing education.
