I have always been involved in animals since I was a small child. I trained horses in my late teens and rode in competitions. I began my college career after I left the USAF in 1990. I obtained an AS Science, BS Biology with Physical Science Minor and a MA.ED in Secondary Teacher Education with a 3.95 GPA. I began working with purebred dogs in 1992 with the addition of our first German Shepherd dog Chief. I discovered the world of Schutzhund dog sports in 1993 and began competing world wide with German European dogs that I bred, trained, titled and competed with. I discovered Podengo Pequeno's at Crufts in 2004 after my family moved to the United Kingdom. I have been breeding, training and showing Podengos Pequenos' Internationally since 2005. My wealth of experience both professionally as a Science teacher and my sport experience as a trainer has provided me with valuable insight into canine behavior, structure, movement and animal husbandry.
