Writing and illustrating books is second nature to me. It seems to have come with my fingers and my brain. However, I didn't know I could do this until I joined the Order of the Daughters of Charity. I went to college in St. Louis, taught 5th and 6th graders in New Orleans, then taught 6th and 7th graders in St, Louis.
I was 17 years old when I entered the Daughters of Charity. I was 32 when I stretched out into the wider world. The 'me' that I was became myself now everywhere. I always continued to teach wherever I was, however.
By the time I was 36, I was in California and had met and married my husband of now 35 years--Bruce. We both moved to Reno, NV.
Drawing, sketching, illustrating just got better over the years, plus, there were freebee art programs online to download and us as tools. The results over time are on this site.
Now, I am into the bilingual phrase of creativity. Not all books are bilingual, yet, but give me time...give me time.
