Michael Buffalo Smith, Publisher and Editor the online magazine Universal Music Tribe (www.universalmusictribe.com), author and musician, presents books taken from his vast archive of interviews and features. Known as “The Ambassador of Southern Rock,” Smith was founder and publisher of GRITZ Magazine for 13 years, and has penned features for countless magazines including Mojo. Goldmine, Hittin The Note, Relix, Sandlapper and more. Smith was previously published by Marshall Tucker Entertainment (Carolina Dreams: The Musical Legacy of Upstate South Carolina, 1997) and his memoir “Prisoner of Southern Rock” will be published by Mercer University Press in September, 2012.
