Jessica Fligg is an artist that works in both watercolor and oils. Her paintings and stories are inspired by her surroundings. Growing up in New Hampshire she spent many summers camping and hiking with her family. This left such warm and fond memories that she began to try and capture her families favorite places on canvas. As a young child Jessica’s parents gave her and her great grandmother sketch books. They began drawing and exchanging what they had worked on once a week. This left deep roots of creativity in Jessica and she continued to grow and learn about art throughout her growing years using various mediums. After she graduated from high school, Jessica studied art at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in Manchester, NH. Here she was introduced to both oils and watercolors. Jessica strives to create both in her studio and en plein air, as well as, Illustrating and writing children's stories . Her paintings have been accepted into galleries throughout NH.
