When I first began researching my family history I intended to confine the content of this book to my family line and the surname Richardson, but while collecting the pictures and documents pertaining to the family I realized many others had made their contribution to complete the picture. For this reason I have strayed off my own lineage at times and also included as much information as I could obtain on the women who married the Richardsons.
I’ve attempted to gather as many records as possible and to notify as many family members as I could that this work was in progress so that they might be included but as anyone who has done any family research knows, the search is never ended. So saying, I apologize for any omissions or errors there may be.
