In May, 2007, Jon lost his battle with ALS, but his war carries on through The Blazeman Foundation. The author is a lifelong endurance sports enthusiast, triathlon coach, husband, father, and leukemia survivor. What lies... More > ahead are a few of his thoughts on life, on health, on sport and on some of the amazing people who have reached and touched him along the way.
The title “In Search of Center” stems from an email from a friend begging the question “How can I find my center if I don’t visit my edges?” Those words have stuck with Brown and they remind him that perhaps writing also gives him an opportunity to both visit the edges, and find his own center. Foreword written by Ethan Zohn. < Less |

Triathlete, Coach, Writer, Speaker, SURVIVOR
I draw parallel lines between the challenges we face in sport and those we face in life and try to use my involvement in the multisport world as a tool to encourage people to break through barriers and understand that all things are possible. Hopefully within the confines of these cyber walls, you will catch a glimpse of a guy who is trying to do his part, be it ever so small, to promote positive change.
