James Langston is a retired naval officer and senior pastor of the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, an inter-denominational fellowship ministry based in Italy. He is ordained and licensed through World Evangelism Fellowship. James is a 1976 graduate of El Campo high school in El Campo, Texas.

James and his wife Cecilia have been married for more than 30-years and have six children and twelve grandchildren. They live overseas in Italy.
