Coils allow the pages to be opened completely flat without tweaking the binding but there are a couple slight issues with formatting and durability as the binding holes cover more area on the pages and can work loose over time. Many of the crag's best routes have been completed in the last couple years and they are now all included. The e-Book is in 6x9" format. If you buy US Trade (6x9) paper and set your printer accordingly, you can print borderless and have a normal sized guide. If you print 8.5x11" you end up with really large margins but they are easily trimmed. Printed guidebooks have also been updated and are available in 6x9" color with either perfect or coil bindings. With 130+ routes to choose from, you'll find plenty of crack climbing at just about any grade. Most of the area classics come in at 5.10 and above but there are many good routes between 5.8 and 5.10-. < Less
