I have loved animals all my life with the emphasis on horses and Great Danes. I got my first riding horse at the age of twelve and in 1972 purchased my first Great Dane. Little did I expect Phoenix to change my life the way he did but it brought me to where I am today in the world of Danes! I've lived with and loved Danes ever since then. I've bred multiple champions over the last several years both on my own and later with my partners and best friends, Pat and Joe McGoldrick. I have judged this breed in several foreign countries as well as here in the States including the Great Dane Club of America National Specialty.
Today I continue on with all of the above. One of my consistent goals has always been to educate people about this breed. The goal being to improve the breed and make sure that prior to purchasing a puppy, people know what they're getting into. Thus, my book.
