This book documents the 2008 nesting of a pair of bald eagles on the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge in south-central... More > Mississippi. While this specific pair of eagles had nested in a remote area of the refuge for some years, the 2008 nest was remarkable in that it was in an area easily viewed (although at some distance) by the public and created considerable local interest. It was also remarkable in that three eaglets were successfully reared, a rare occurrence.
