After reading this well documented account, there is no doubt in my mind that Judi did not receive justice. She presented the facts, ie, the various medical and legal reports, so that the reader knows that she was not selective of information just to support her side of the story. However, although Judi lost the legal battle, she is still a winner. Now that all the medical reports are in the “public domain”, she has been able to tell her story about the supreme difficulty to obtain appropriate medical treatment for illnesses such as ME, FM and MCS. Treatment with potent psychotropic drugs obviously made her health deteriorate and caused physical damage. Although the good doctors may outnumber the poor ones, the latter should not be protected by the competent physicians. The Hippocratic Oath is very specific in “first do no harm”. Dr. Philipa D.
