I write for the joy of meeting new people--my characters--and learning what happens to them. I'm very interested in the discovery of a person's true nature and sexual identity, and exploring different genres and structure. I have been writing since ...ever. I won my first national writing award in sixth grade (a small, dusty trophy in a hutch at my mother's). Like many authors, I edited and contributed to my high school and college creative writing magazines, then life got in the way and didn't write for years. Flash forward and I sold some magazine articles in fields I was interested in (music and travel) and all over again, I fell in love with watching words appear on the screen. More to the point, I fell in love with characters appearing on my screen, moving and breathing and living on their own. I fell in love with setting things up, and watching what happens.
