The original Keep Calm and Carry On poster was created by the British government in 1939 as part of a series of inspirational posters designed to help the people of Britain stay positive during a time of crisis. Millions of copies of this poster were printed but never displayed and the poster and its message were forgotten until a copy was discovered in a box of books bought at auction by a bookseller in 2000 who subsequently displayed the poster in his shop. Following coverage in a national newspaper, copies of the poster were sold and its message replicated on to other goods. Whilst many people worldwide have been inspired by the message of Keep Calm and Carry On, there has never been any guidance on HOW to Keep Calm and Carry On - until now...

About Jonathan Forrest and Andrew Hughes-Hallett

Jonathan Forrest is a leadership development consultant and executive coach. Originally training as an opera singer, but deciding against a career in professional singing, he has held various leadership positions. His last major corporate role was as Vice President at Goldman Sachs where he created Goldman’s in-house designed and delivered global leadership programme. He now runs his own leadership development and executive coaching business.

Andrew Hughes-Hallett is a business development consultant working with corporations throughout Europe and the Middle East. Having pioneered the introduction of world renowned business speakers to Europe in the early nineties, he established his own management development consultancy in 1995. Through its innovative and energetic approach, the company acquired successful and long term relationships with dozens of FTSE 100 companies, whilst expanding a network of offices across EMEA. He now advises companies on leadership and strategy.
