I have been writing poetry and short stories for a few years ever since attending creative writing classes. I write mainly for my own pleasure and do not expect fame and fortune to come from it. My writing style could be described as sardonic with a touch of humour. I have always had a liking for wacky humour Monty Python, Spike Milligan etc and my favourite authors are the likes of Terry Pratchett, Stephen King among many others.. I have had one or two poems published in small press magazines but nothing major. I had a few copies of a collection printed locally but this is my first attempt to do it properly. I intend the book as something that can be carried around and read when time is short. On buses or during a lunch break. Light reading to pass the time I want to keep the price fairly low so it can be bought as anextra birthday present or a Xmas stocking filler and if it brings a smile to some-ones face my work will be done.
