I was born in 1954, the same year as rock n' roll and Godzilla. Growing up in the dying factory town of Easthampton, Massachusetts, I was no different than any other kid raised on The Beatles and MAD magazine.
My passion is pop phenomena, music and movies, words and pictures. Adults are grown-up kids—I think they need picture books, too.
