About
Karyn Fry
In September of 1978 Karyn Fry was preparing to enter the novitiate as a New Jersey Sister of Charity but a family crisis caused her to leave her religious calling behind. What was never left behind was her love and great admiration for Pope John Paul I. In the years that followed, Miss Fry served as a production manager/editor and writer for such periodicals as Alternative Investment Strategies, covering the fine art and auction markets, and the newsletter of The American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta. She worked in the Health Information Department of Delaware Hospice for seven year before becoming an instructor in Health Information Technology with the Dawn Career Institute in Wilmington, Delaware three years ago. She has left the Catholic church for the Presbyterian faith but continues to emulate her role-model, John Paul I, by serving as a Ruling Elder at her church in New Castle, Delaware. September’s Pope is her first novel.
