After spending 27 years of his adult life as a professional portrait photographer and achieving the level of Master Craftsman Photographer, Larry and his wife, Donna, sold their business for him to pursue a second career as an artist specializing in oil paintings of Texas themed subjects. His Texas artwork has been exhibited in nationally acclaimed museums and on nationwide television. It was during this time that he rediscovered his love for writing and looking back at the past. In his books, he takes a look at his life and recounts, through humor and inspiration, the memories and blessings that have come his way from growing up and raising his own children in a small town.
