LINDA LISTER was educated at Vassar College, Cambridge University, and the Eastman School of Music. A certified CorePower Yoga teacher, she has presented workshops on Yoga for Singers throughout the country as well as at national conventions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing and the National Opera Association. Her writings have been featured in the Journal of Singing, Classical Singer, Popular Music and Society, Voice Prints and American Music Teacher. Her chapter on operatic settings of Wuthering Heights is featured in The Brontes in the World of the Arts (2008). Also a composer, she has written a number of vocal works including the chamber opera How Clear She Shines! Affectionately known as “Limber Lister,” Linda is a voice professor and professional singer, and is featured on the Albany Records CDs The American Soloist and Midnight Tolls. In 2011, Linda became the Director of UNLV Opera Theater.
