About
Heather Legge-Click

Heather was born in 1982 in a small town in Indiana to a family of what she calls "honorary gypsies." Growing up in a number of southern states, she was drawing on walls as soon as she could wield a crayola, much to the chagrin of her mother. Earning her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art/Art History at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2005, Heather now tries to keep her work confined to the proper creative vehicles. Constantly drawing, knitting, painting, sculpting, sewing, writing or thinking about one of the aforementioned tasks, she calls herself a "creative compulsive", describing her creative drive as an addiction inspired by the respect she has for all forms of life. "Cadence And The Flutterbies" is her first published book. Having aspired to write and illustrate children's literature since she read her first Beatrix Potter book at the age of five, she excitedly states that "this is only the beginning."
