Born in 1960 on a rainy day behind the Iron Curtain. Stranded at the shores of surrealist Belgium. Lives there creating artist books and object boxes. Editor of the assembling magazine “Bizarre Cities”. Language, writing, is particularly important to his art. It is however seldom the meaning of the text, but its symbolic, "spiritual" aspect. The mystery lying within the unidentifiable characters of a foreign writing. I like to see my art based on poems by Paul Celan, in particular "Unreadableness of this world [...]". The resulting collages contain a kind of strangeness, a disturbing element disquieting the spectator/reader who is confronted to a series of elements taken from one's everyday life which, being put one next to each other, provoke, suddenly, an incoherent situation, a source of obscurity and vagueness.
