I am an accounting manager turned stay-at-home dad and author of five novels and seven children's picture books. I have a wonderful wife who fully supported my decision to step out of the workaday comfort zone and into the extraordinary uncertainty of raising a daughter (in a post-9/11 world) and writing books.
While highly successful as a stay-at-home dad, success with writing has been like hitting a Nolan Ryan fastball. Sometimes, when all else fails, I just close my eyes, swing, and hope for the best. Perhaps not the best way to take on the craft of writing, but I'd like to think that someday I'm bound to hit a homerun! Heck, I'll settle for a ground-rule double!
My latest works are Taylor Smart and the Chamber of Skulls, a tween novel filled with adventure, mystery, and some really cool characters; and The Baptism, a novel set in the midst of the Battle Of Antietam (Sharpsburg, Maryland), the bloodiest single day in American history. Thanks for reading!
