About Samantha McLeod
Samantha wrote a series of books in the fourth grade which were later published with the prompting of her principal and the special education department. Her first two books, “Normal” and “My Brother Is Not Special”, were written about her brother who has autism. These award winning books are used in classrooms across the country to teach tolerance and to educate children on differences. Samantha spends much of her free time visiting classrooms and special needs schools to discuss writing and autism.
