Melis Senkaya is a Turkish-Canadian author and professional writer who writes YA (young adult) fiction in the genres of romance/erotica, horror, thriller, mystery, drama/angst, science fiction, fantasy, dystopian, historical fiction, crime as well as several sub-genres. She also writes a variety of essays, novellas, and freestyle poetry. She has been writing for 12+ years since she was an ESL student, and wrote her first book at 12. She published the first edition of her novel “The Cemetery Drive” when she was 13. She has written 32 novels with 42 in total as a work-in-progress, (83 including scraped books) as well as 5+ different series. In her free time she likes to revise, edit, and twist the plots on her novels. Her favourite genres to read and write are fantasy. While she doesn’t have a favourite author or novel, she enjoys a little bit of everything in the YA genre.
