Mark Stephen Johnson is a high school educator in Minneapolis and a staunch advocate of getting books in the hands of those that want to read, but lack the desire, or the means of acquiring fun and challenging books. His interest in the paranormal began soon after the passing of his father and the resulting unexplained paranormal activity. His writing of the Para Troupers series is a collaboration of his educational and paranormal interests. Para Troupers has been rated as a teen/young adult novel and follows a small group of close friends as they attempt to rid the small town of Spider Lake of its evil entities. Confrontations with entities, especially those of the evil variety, can be bad for your health, as evidenced by the frightening scenes presented in this book series.
