M. Kate Laws-Phariss was born in Ajo (spanish for garllic), Arizona and now lives in Big Spring, Texas with her husband and four dorky sons. She loves them with everything she has BECAUSE of their obvious dorkiness. When not writing, she is a home health nurse to the best patients in the world!
