Kate MacDonald is an award-winning author, blogger and film-maker. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in international publications in print and on line. She defies traditional writing genres, although her work has been called "vibrant", "masterful" and "heartfelt", but also "paranoid", "disturbing" and "perplexing". Her dream-like tales of people in distress are understated and riddled with humour as dark as the coffee that keeps her alive.
Her book "Interference" is available in printed and, most recently, e-book format, with new titles to follow in the near future, when she decides to take some time away from her busy schedule of blogging, tweeting, dj-ing, and finding new ways of getting into trouble (technically the source of inspiration).
Hailing originally from the fog-enshrouded shores of eastern Canada, she now lives in Montreal with her large family of cats and her partner and frequent collaborator (in F Squared Media), Dominic F. Marceau.
