Melinda J. Burgoon
Melinda has been an avid trail rider for almost 20 years. As such, she loves to share her passion of horses and trail riding with others. As the author of Missouri Trailblazing, she works very diligently to stay up to date on trail happenings throughout the state of Missouri. She is also an advocate for public trails within her home state, in an effort to assure trails are available for future generations. She has also served as a board member for her local saddle club. She enjoys gardening and served as President of her local garden club for many years. She recently retired from her duties as President in order to focus her attention to Missouri Trailblazing projects. Melinda lives on a small ranch in Mid-Missouri with her husband, along with their 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 5 horses. Together they have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
