I am a 45-year-old wife and mother. I currently live in West Pittston, PA in a dilapidated 150-year-old house that is under renovation. My career did not begin with writing. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science and immediately began working in the mental health field after graduation. The mental health field, regardless of which specialty, is emotionally draining, and often times, a thankless job. I always had a passion and affinity for reading and writing since childhood. I decided to embark on a new career in writing. I am currently an author, freelance writer, and blogger. I'm a contributor to literary journals and online publications and the author of five books.
