Bren Yarbrough Bruhn
Author/Artist Bren Yarbrough Bruhn has written three novels, The Price of Eden, Far From Paradise, and Delilah's Pirate, all set in Florida. Apache Moon is set in 1700's New Mexico. Her latest novel, What Heaven Forbids, is the 3rd and final book in the Florida Series. At a very early age, Bren developed an interest in writing, leading her to write short stories, poems, and even a few non-fiction articles for international publications. Writing has always been her first love, but Bren also had another "career." In 1995, she began creating one-of-a-kind repainted fashion dolls under the name, "Lovely Painted Ladies, (LPL)." The dolls were usually dressed in period costumes and accompanied by a short story. In the beginning, she worked on a commission only basis before deciding to sell her "ladies" on ebay. Her dolls are now in the homes of collectors all over the world. Visit Bren's website for more information and reviews of her books.
