My main instruments have been bass guitar and "touchstyle" instruments - the Chapman Stick and Mobius Megatar - but I have been playing guitar for over ten years, and teaching for more than five. Academically, I hold a Diploma in Music from the Open University, along with a BA(Honours), first class, also from the OU. My degree studies included a number of modules in psychology and neuro-anatomy, contributing to an understanding of the mechanisms of memory and the learning process.
