Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and Social Psychology. He taught all aspects of Psychology and related subjects at both the high school and college levels over 25 years. He is a professional mediator, with over 125 hours of training. He has also held executive positions in organizations and has served as an officer or member of several boards. Patrick and his wife, Penny, who is also an educator and writer of novels published by Lulu, have ministered together since their marriage in 1974. Three children and seven grandchildren have given them a wealth of experience to bring into their writings. They are retired and live in North Carolina.
