Teresa Garcia is a 30-something single parent of two living in a rural mountain town in true Northern California. The difficulty with finding a publisher for her Dragon Shaman series led her into self-publishing, and gave her a desire to help other people like herself to get their works in print. Thus, she started THG StarDragon Publishing, with Lulu as her first printer and main outlet venue.
Her works are inspired by the rugged region in which she lives, Japanese and Native American culture, and her deceased father, in whose memory all her own works are written. The works she publishes for others the authors retain full copywrite to, and they have the option of publishing with other companies and venues if they choose. If an author ever wishes a work pulled, this is done so immediately (or as quickly as possible in case of extreme circumstances weatherwise).
Current projects are a children's dragon stories anthology, the web serial novel Selkies' Skins, and "Dragon Shaman 3."
