A lifelong learner, Cynthia loves to audit classes at Elmira College. Cynthia enjoys singing in a band called, “Country Magic” and also in the Chorus of the Southern Finger Lakes. She enjoys swimming, kayaking, golf and yoga. She volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association and is serving as a National Early-Stage Alumni Advisor for the Alzheimer’s Association. Cynthia is passionate about research and has participated in Alzheimer’s clinical studies since 2010. She spoke at 2017 National Research Summit on Care, Services and Supports for Persons with Dementia and Their Caregivers and was recently appointed to serve on the US Department of Health and Human Services' National Advisory Council on Alzheimer's Research, Care and Services.
