Rabbi Yonassan Gershom is best known as the author of "Beyond the Ashes: Cases of Reincarnation from the Holocaust" -- currently out of print, a new 25th anniversary edition is in the pipeline, due out on Lulu in 2017. His latest book is "Kapporos Then and Now: Toward a More Compassionate Tradition." He lives with his wife, Caryl, on a small hobby farm in northern Minnesota with 1 goose, 3 dogs, 8 guineafowl, 9 cats, a flock of chickens and a bunch of wildlife.
