am a 67-year-old lady who lives in Paris On CA. I have three wonderful children. 2 son in-laws, 1 daughter in law who are just like my own. 2 grandchildren two 27-year-old grand-daughters and a 7-year-old grandson. Ron and I have been married 48 years. Until a major car accident 40 years ago that took my livelihood away I was a hairdresser, make up artist and model. After listening to my hairdressing stories for a million times, my son-in-law David suggested I write about them so I did. And so “A Hairdresser’s Diary” was born. From that "A Cut Above Discrimination" was inspired. I would like to share some of my stories. I will make you laugh, cry, feel sympathy for some, dislike others. You will learn things about the hairdressing world.
