Montrealer Sharen McDonald's life has always been tied to education although she discovered too late that she really would have liked to work behind the scenes at the Stratford Festival or perhaps as a director of Broadway musicals. Still, she is very grateful to her students and colleagues for all the wonderful adventures along the way. She was the recipient of the Willis S. McLeese Award for outstanding service to student debate in Canada (1995) and the ABQLA - Quebec Library Association Leadership and Service Award (1998). Welcome to her world of words and the tranquillity of nature!
