Roya Movafegh (1971-2015) Roya was a multi-media artist and writer. Her work explored the dynamics of assimilation, the multiple facets of cultural identity, and freedom. Lyle Hysen is not an illustrator. He resides in Hoboken with his wife, Lisa, their daughters Charlotte and Juliet, and Hazel the dog. John Newcomer lives in Bethlehem, PA with his girlfriend Lisa and their two cats, Dolphy and Drizzle. All proceeds of the book go to Global Kids.
