Sue is well versed in online course design, working at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, as an Instructional Technologist.
She holds an MCCC (Moodle Course Creator Certification) and Moodle 2 Administrator Certification. In addition, Sue has an MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) designation, and several compTIA certifications to validate knowledge within specific IT support fields. With a degree in Canadian History, Sue worked for eight years as an Instructor in Northern British Columbia at the high school and adult level (holds a BC Professional Teachers Certification). While living in the north, she also published three books on the history of Prince Rupert, BC.
Sue has a deep practical and theoretical knowledge of online instruction and possesses a keen recognition of the benefits that technology offers in enabling and supporting learning.
