Each year I am pleased to offer a new and original story for the Christmas holiday season. 2020 will mark the 23rd year of the Christmas Story Collection. Many past holiday short stories are now available in the Christmas Cookies Holiday Story Collection book that is available in print or ebook format from Lulu and iTunes. The Christmas Cookies Holiday Story Collection is dedicated "to all lost and homeless animals past and present." This holiday story tradition started in 1998 when the first holiday short story titled Snowflake was published on the Thoughts from the Pond website. Snowflake was later awarded First Place in the annual Holiday Story Contest hosted by The St. Augustine Florida Record Newspaper. Snowflake is a heartwarming tale about a young girl’s attempts to get a small disabled puppy from a pet store to give as a very special holiday gift.
