Author Marisa L. Williams received her Master's in Writing from the Johns Hopkins University and earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo, an interdisciplinary degree emphasizing Forensics. The author of 97 books, Williams is a licensed real estate agent in Michigan and creates custom gemstone jewelry. She toured on Ozzfest in 2002 and has worked with a number of film and television projects.
