I created Two Coats of Paint in 2007 to share reviews, commentary, news, and background information about painting and related subjects. Two Coats has been sponsored by The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The New York Studio School, The Pulitzer Foundation and numerous other arts organizations. In 2008, I began producing artist books to document projects and help support the blog.
