Valéria Schmitt is a dentist and Brazilian writer. Born April 11, 1967 in Pitangui, Minas Gerais, Brazil, she gratuated in Dentistry in 1989 and she has written several articles for scientific journals in her expertise's area. From 2008 to 2010 she wrote for the "Jornal Sétima Vila", a periodic in Pitangui. In 2011 she moved to the United States for six months, where she was able to create a fantastic story about the teen witch Carrie. Valéria is married and she has two teenage children. Magical Autumn (OUTONO in Portuguese) is her third book and her first work for young adults. Her first book "The Law of Atraction" was published in 2008, in Brazil and the second book "Muito Além do Passado" is about Last Life Terapy. Magical Autumn is also the first in a series of books about Carrie and her adventures. After the first book, are coming: Winter, Spring and Summer.
