I have been writing since childhood. It is my passion, my drive and my relaxation too. Over the years, I have written short stories, magazine articles, radio plays and advertising copy. However, it was only five years ago that I finally wrote my first full length book, African Ways. It was inspired by Peter Mayle's Year in Provence and is about my life on a farm in South Africa. I followed this up with an account of my first year of living on a barge in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (Watery Ways, 2009), then my first fictional book, The Skipper's Child, now published by Sunpenny Publishing (2011). I am currently working on a fourth book, which is also fictional, but based on the years I spent doing the self-sufficiency thing in Dorset, England. Watch this space as it will be coming soon!
