Born in 1958, Wanda Lea Brayton lives in the Midwest, a "former" college librarian and lifelong scholar. Poet since 1973. Instrumental in assisting others with their manuscripts by compiling, proofreading, editing. writing prefaces, back cover material, writing reviews and columns to promote their books. She married a brilliant writer, Danny Beatty, in 2009, disproving two artists cannot live together in harmony, let alone with only one computer; he passed away in May 2016. Her poems have been published by Clackamas Literary Review, Main Street Rag, Hudson View Poetry Digest, The Pedestal Magazine, Oak Bend Review, Aquillrelle, Stone Voices and additional anthologies. She is a featured poet on numerous websites, including Aquillrelle, The HyperTexts and Poetry Life & Times. World Poetry International has promoted her poems in numerous exhibits, including the Neruda celebration, the John Lennon Peace Tower in Iceland and the World Poetry Cafe Radio station.
