In my research, I learned about "The Book of Eights" how it is one of oldest Buddhist texts known to exist. Immediately, I knew I had found something profound which very few people even know about.
In order to share the wisdom of this unknown sutra with the world, I coined the term “Hacking the Buddha Code” in hopes that it would appeal to the Western mind. This phrase has a double meaning.
First, it is an invitation to hear the primitive teachings of the Buddha found in this ancient manuscript and to learn the pure and unrefined wisdom of the Awakened One before his teaching became crystallized in the various religious forms we see today.
Second, this phrase also engenders a theme for this book based on the modern intrigue of hacking and computer programming. I find this analogy to be quite useful when addressing the issue of human behavior because what we do is the consequence of what we believe, and what we believe is directly related to how we have been programmed
