Wyatt Underwood was born in New Mexico and spent his childhood in Brasil then returned to New Mexico for his teens and college. Sometimes it seems he has been trying to learn the language all his life, but what a great game! Give it the structures and strictures of poetry and it's even more rewarding. He has only recently discovered that poetry is a performing art.
